Arthi Agarwal American -Indian actress . She was brought up in New Jersey. She did her first film Paagalpan in Hindi in 2001 but it was not a hit. Aarthi showed an interest for acting at an early age and started her acting lessons at ‘Cours Florent’. But she got a offer from Indian producer for a full length heroine role which she accepted. In 2000 she acted in a movie named 'Pagalpan' in hindi. It was a disaster, it seems Bollywood is not a place suited for Aarthi. But when she was planning to leave back to America, She was sited by K.Vijaya Bhaskar which made her to act in Telugu .
She sure did convince everybody that she can act as well as she can look good, after her great performances in Indra and Vasantham. Lots of Directors waiting to sign her up in their movies. Its no exaggeration that she is now being called the 'lady-luck' of Telugu film industry, acting with the same ease with youth stars and super stars alike.
