Charmi Kaur biography
Charmi Kaur, fondly called Charmi by her numerous ardent fans, is a charming south Indian actress. She was born on May 17th, 1987 in Punjab. Charmi studied in Carmelite Convent English High School at Vasai. She started acting in movies as soon as she finished school at the age of 15. How she managed to get into films and who is her godfather in the industry are still mysterious.
Charmi is a much sought-after Tollywood actress who can speak Telugu like a native Telugu girl. She debuted in Telugu film industry with Nee Thodu Kaavali which was a flop. Charmi has seen many ups and downs in her acting career but some of her films – particularly Gowri and Mass - did exceedingly well at the box office.
Yet another blockbuster was "Anukokunda Oka Roju" – in which her performance won wide approbation. Charmi who did nearly twenty movies in Telugu has acted with almost all the leading actors including Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Prabhas, Simbu, Jr NTR, Ravi Teja. She has won best actress awards for films Mantra and Anukokunda Oka Roju
